Long recognized as an institution of excellence, the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional (CRR) of Boulogne-Billancourt is a leading figure in music, theater, and dance education in France. Studies at the conservatory adhere to the pedagogical guidelines set by the Ministry of Culture. It offers comprehensive training from the beginning of learning to pre-professional education.
Created in a rural setting, the Terres Vibrantes Festival has been bringing the Combrailles summers to life since 2020. Artistic creation, promotion of Auvergne's heritage, transmission and the fight against discrimination are objectives that have led the festival to become more firmly rooted in the region, through mediation initiatives and artist residencies in partnership with local cultural structures. An open, eclectic program enables emerging artists to rub shoulders with major musicians from the international European scene.

After studying at the Newark School of Violin Making in London, Charles Coquet worked with Marc Rosenstiel in Veynes, and with Yann Porret and Bernard Sabatier in Paris. In 2003, he was awarded First Prize for Viola at the International Violin Making Competition in Cremona. His violins are inspired by the work of the Amati brothers and Guarneri del Gesù, his violas by Giacomo Gennaro, and his cellos by Matteo Goffriller. He has developed his own model based on the design method established by François Denis. Since 2007, Charles Coquet has run his workshop in Paris together with bow maker Emmanuel Carlier.
Charles Coquet generously offers a BAM viola case to one of the Competition Prize Winners.
